What an amazing tale about a truly wonderful man. Easy reading, meticulously researched and full of information, humour and insights especially on the question of whether the mountain should be renamed to reflect the country in which it stands. The author’s love of the Australian Alps is lyrically reflected in the closing chapters of the book. Truly good reading
