Whatever the Weather, We’re In This Together is a celebration of seasons, weather and unconditional love through the eyes of lots of different families. It also works to reassure children that they are loved, whatever the weather, whatever the seasons. Love doesn’t change because the weather changes.

It’s aimed at children, but it is the kind of story that can bring anyone comfort and reassurance with its repetition after each section of the title – Jessica Braithwaite and Rebecca Ralfe Whatever the Weather, We’re In This Together.
This brings everything together delightfully, and evocatively, and the repeated phrase could become one of those phrases in books that children will always remember, or be able to predict as you are reading the book. It’s a nice kind of predictability, because it allows readers to see how it works, works well and how it can bring everything together so well.
Like in any picture book, the illustrations complete the story and bring it to life for readers. They are just as much a part of the story as the words, and they work together perfectly to bring the story to life for all readers.
