This is one of the most intriguing books I’ve ever read.
Marie Perrin, the main character of the story, tells a first-person view of her life and struggles in the country of France in the mid 1650’s. This book twists your mind about what the characters will do next. It surprises you with its unfortunate events and the author’s creative and surprising solutions.
If you like books about mystery, adventure, death and the will of family, related or not, this book is for you.
