This book is about a young girl named Luna, a witch-ling who was raised by her aunts. When she is kicked out of school by the headmaster because she doesn’t know who her mum is, she decides to find out but, in turn, uncovers a secret about her headmaster. Luna must undo an impossible spell to save herself, her Boobook and her aunts.

I thought that the book was fun, exciting and interesting, full of adventures and plot twists. It’s a really good book if you’re interested in magic and daredevil action. It gave me mixed feelings never really knowing fully who the villain is.

I definitely recommend this book because at the start I didn’t like the sound of it, but it just kept getting better and more interesting.
