Norman had always been normal. Perfectly normal until one day he grew a pair of wings.

Norman had always imagined himself growing taller, or even growing a beard, like his dad. But what was he going to do with a pair of wings? Well, they are here now so he might as well test them out. What fun they were! He was up in the air sweeping around. He wanted his wings forever. But you see, he had to go into dinner. What would his parents think? He’d have to dress in a coat. They would wonder why, because it was boiling hot. Bath time is going to be so problematic. Maybe he should decide to take off his coat and try his wings!

Perfectly Norman is a terrific book about accepting yourself for who you are. Just being you and discovering there are other people just like you too. Norman discovers that there’s no such thing as perfectly normal. He was simply perfectly Norman.

This is a board book edition of the original popular paperback from the author’s ‘Big Bright Feelings’ series.
