Leo’s Moon is a story of a little boy called Leo. Every night he would look out of his bedroom window to see the moon shining down on him.
But one particular night he notices the moon was looking very sad. So when his mum comes into to tuck him in he asks her, ‘Why does the moon look sad tonight?’ His mum replies, ‘The moon is sad because people aren’t caring about his friend, the Earth.’
The very next day Leo has a BIG idea. Why not start cleaning up his own house and garden and maybe the school garden as well.
So hopefully this delightfully simple story will resonate with our young ones to ‘do our little bit’ to make our Earth healthy again. Good on you, Leo!
