G’day, my name is WARREN
And I’ve got something to share …
Just because I’m furry
DOESN’T MEAN I’M A BEAR.

Poor Warren. He is so frustrated. Not only do his friends call him a bear but he also sees signs in shop windows ‘TOY KOALA BEARS $7.99’. He blames it all on Captain Cook who, he says, called him a bear in the first place. Warren says we don’t have bears in Australia except for the ones in the zoos. But we do have marsupials, like kangaroos and wombats, and he’s one of them.

If you enjoyed the ‘Pig the Pug’ series then you will love this book. Aaron Blabey has given us a Warren who is big and loud and pretty angry about being called the wrong name. Read this book and you’ll never call him a bear again.
