Every single day of every single year a precious child is born to cherish and to cheer. All around the world they grow and learn and play, shining their bright light and finding their own way.
This gentle book is a fresh retelling of the famous nursery rhyme that has been told in varying versions over time.
Monday’s child is kind and caring.
Treading softly, helping sharing.
Every day is joyful in different ways. A favourite is Thursday
Thursday’s child is happy when moving.
Impulsive, eager, whizzing, zooming.
The illustrations are soft, warm and enveloping. They bring to life the simple joys of being a child. The rhyming words make this the perfect book to read aloud as the story flows so well.
Simply a lovely book.
