This book is about a small girl, Pearly, who wants to become an adventurer for a secret adventurer club. Her smartness is put to the test when her pet pig, called Pig, is pig-napped and her parents go missing on a boat to Antarctica. Pearly realises she has to use all her skills to save them along the way. This book is full of fast action and adventure.

Will Pearly find her parents and save them from their doom? I loved all the moments where Pearly is stuck in a sticky situation and finds a way to get out of it.

The little pictures dotted throughout the book keep it interesting. This book never gets boring because it’s full of action and adventure. I rate this book four and a half out of five because of the wonderful way it keeps you in suspense right to the end.
