ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Sally Nicholls was born in Stockton-on-Tees, just after midnight, in a thunderstorm. She always always loved reading, and spent most of her childhood trying to make real life as much like a book as possible. After school, she went and worked in a Red Cross Hospital in Japan and then travelled around Australia and New Zealand.
During her masters in Writing for Young People at Bath Spa, she wrote Ways to Live Forever. Today she lives in a small house in Oxford with her husband and little boy.
