The joeys from all sorts of Australian native animals are playing on the pages throughout this book. As they snuffle and push, race on the cool, soft sand, or leap, slide and soar, they whisper goodnight to the land around them.

On each of the pages we meet a new type of joey, from a wombat romping to a koala dreaming on her mum’s tummy. Until we come to the end where we will ‘whisper goodnight to this book, your room, the sky, take one last look’.

The softly coloured illustrations in this board book are calming. The story is sweet and gentle, perfect for tiny hands.

A really lovely bedtime book to help calm little ones, close their eyes and dream.
