This book will sweep you back to your childhood as you turn the pages.
Where is your happy place? Each spread of pages explores those special moments a child loves. ‘Is it squidging sand between your toes and making a castle with a moat that flows?’ or ‘Is it playing dress-ups in fabulous clothes and riding on dragons and putting on shows?’
As we turn the pages the images and words bring to life those special times where we have pitched a tent in the backyard imagining being in a faraway place, or cooking with our grandmother and licking the spoon or ending our day, sleepy eyed, curled up in bed with Dad reading a book aloud.
This is My Happy Place is filled with wonderful experiences we loved as children. It’s like a big warm hug full of joy. Children will want more while the adults will be remembering those moments that helped make us who we.
