This is the great granddaddy of all dinosaur books. It’s super-sized with oodles of information and amazing photos on every page. There are maps to unfold and flaps to lift to reveal where and how the dinosaurs lived and how they were discovered. There are photos of palaeontologists at work trying to reassemble fragments of dinosaur bones and others measuring dinosaur footprints. Some of the most exciting pages are where there are life-sized photos of a dinosaur’s actual skin and another of the tip of a stegosaurus ‘scute’ which is the bony back plate. Incredible! But the scariest page of all is the actual size jaws of a fish-eating pterosaur with huge needle-sharp teeth covering two whole pages!

All the young Dinosaur Tragics and their mums, dads and teachers will find in this book photos and information which they have never seen before. Don’t miss it.
