This is a perfect book for the Littlies. Watch Out, Little Wombat is a new board book version of the popular paperback edition that was published last year.

Little Wombat was playing explorers with his friends, Rabbit and Koala. Little Wombat suggested they go to the creek to hunt for the bunyip but his friends called him silly and assured him there’s no such thing. It was then that Little Wombat had a good idea … he’d make his own Bunyip to scare his friends. But it didn’t turn out quite the way he wanted it to. There are other real nasties waiting in the water for him.

It’s a fun-filled adventure that’s a little scary but all safe at the end. As it should be.
