Wandering Wild is about two teens grappling with the ghosts of their pasts and learning to open up and love again through trust and adventure.

Our journey begins when 17-year-old Charlie Hart is unexpectedly roped into a highly anticipated reality TV show starring survivalist Rykon Hawke and Zander Rune, a famous Hollywood actor seeking redemption after a career-wrecking accident – someone who Charlie loathes. When their trip goes horribly wrong and they’re left stranded in the dangerous blue mountains, Charlie and Zander must learn to let go of their differences and work together if they want to make it back alive.

The book begins just as an event sets the characters off on a big adventure. Their secrets are kept a mystery, which motivated me to continue reading. It’s written in dual perspectives which helped me get to know Zander and Charlie. I loved watching their feelings for each other grow. Early on, I felt there was an overuse of the phrase ‘making me think’, but otherwise, it was flawless.
