After a tragic accident at her old school, Page is offered a scholarship to Agathion College, a school for the rich and elite. Here she hopes to make a fresh start and to control the strange ability that lurks beneath her skin, especially now that she’s in a school that focuses on her mind over her body.
For the first time in her life Page has made friends: Cyrus, Ren, Gideon, Lacey, and Oak welcome her into their friend group. But Page soon realises that they are keeping secrets from her, just like the faculty of Agathion. Secrets that involve Agathion’s dark magical history.
Agathion College is a Gothic building on an eerie, remote Scottish moor with ancient stones within the school grounds. The mysterious magisters have a curriculum that focuses on Greek philosophy. And as we follow Page’s journey, we uncover mysteries and dark secrets about Page and Agathion College. These mysteries and secrets involve strange magic, cultists, demons and goddesses.
If you’re a fan of dark academia fiction, Unhallowed Halls ticks all the boxes. It is layered with mystery, dark academia and magic. It is a great read, and I highly recommend it.
