Reading this book was like watching a movie inside your head. The amazing descriptive, engaging, captivating and emotive language made this book come to life. This book is the 4th book in the ‘E-boy’ series.

Ethan was simply a normal teenager but when he has surgery something goes awfully wrong. He is struck by a freak lightning strike. This gives him the ability to hack into any electronic device – with his mind!

Ethan is now E-boy, a fugitive on the run. When the link between him and the android, Gemini, is broken, they are left with no option but to repair it. Gemini is in desperate need of fixing but all the equipment is within the enemy’s hands. Dr Penny Cook and E-boy need to infiltrate enemy headquarters to repair the android. With the dangerous and powerful Agent Ferris and his team on their tail, will they be able to pull it off?

One of the funniest parts of this book is when Gemini’s coding is damaged and he becomes very literal. When they tell him to take a seat he rips it off the ground and carries it! With some very subtle, hidden Easter eggs in the story line and humorous pockets of laughter, this book is definitely one of my favourites!

The realistic illustrations really make the book POP! They truly reflect on what the storyline is saying and add that extra WOW factor. This book is suspenseful and entertaining. Anh Do never disappoints with his books! I craved more and more of the book, I couldn’t put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed it and found the main characters very likeable.

I highly recommend this amazing book to people who crave adventure, love interesting and unpredictable twists. Trust me this is a book you can’t put down!
