Ada Lovelace was born in 1815. Her father was the famous poet Lord Byron, and her mother was a skilled mathematician who didn’t want her to become a poet like her dad, so she made sure that Ada studied maths. Ada grew up during the Industrial Revolution, when engineers invented steam-powered machines. These machines sparked Ada’s imagination. Could she make her childhood dream – a steam-powered flying horse? Mathematician and inventor Charles Babbage met Ada and was very impressed with her skills. He wondered if she could program his newest invention.

This is a perfect book for young tech heads who like to dream.
