I think the ‘Justice Jones’ series is a very good crime novel series that everyone would enjoy – children and adults. The Ghost in the Garden is the third book in the series and is my favourite.

It is my favourite because it’s got many different elements to it. Some of these being ghosts, ransom notes, crime books, a haunted tower, and new and suspicious staff members at Highbury House, which is the boarding school where Justice and her friends go. In The Ghost in the Garden, a new girl Letitia arrives, who doesn’t care for rules and somehow the teachers don’t mind. She comes from a rich family, and her father helps fund the school, but she still feels like a normal kid, though some of the other kids think she’s quite snobby. During a midnight feast a scary story is told, and the ghost from it seems to come alive. Then Letitia disappears. Ransom notes appear torn from books.

I liked this book a lot. Everything was good. It’s very well written, the plot and storyline was excellent. It felt like you were there at Highbury House. If you like stories with mysterious plotlines and great characters then I recommend this book and the whole ‘Justice Jones’ series.
