The rain is coming in, down from the treetops, making muddy puddles. We see huge drops falling down, splashing upon landing.

This is such a happy book. We find joy in the little birds who are singing and the wildflowers that are blooming again. Even the kangaroos are happily playing. We see Johnny, our wonderful illustrator, dancing in the rain for happiness is everywhere.

As we leave Johnny dancing with the rainbow above him, we turn the pages again to read a little about Sally Morgan who loves writing stories for children. This is a clever and simply told story, which, combined with the wonderful talents of Johnny Warrkatja Malibirr, leaps into life.

I have read this book many times. I am still in awe of each beautiful page.
