Molly the maid is looking forward to her happy-ever-after. She is Head Maid and newly promoted Special Events Manager at the Regency Grand and is about to marry her beloved Juan Manuel.
But her life is thrown into chaos when the Regency Grand hosts a filming of hit show Hidden Treasures, starring celebrity art appraisers Brown and Beagle. She becomes the centre of a media circus when it’s revealed one of her gran’s old treasures is a priceless Faberge egg. The egg is sold at public auction – but it disappears, with a note left threatening Molly’s life.
Molly is determined to solve the mystery. To do so, she must delve into secrets of the past, revealed through an old diary left by her gran. As she learns about her gran’s extraordinary life she finds clues to her present-day mystery – and will discover the answer is a lot closer to home than she could have predicted.
It’s a joy to be reunited with the delightful Molly and her friends. Billed as ‘one final mystery’ for Molly, it’s a perfect conclusion to the series (but I’m hoping we’ll meet Molly again).
