Uh oh! The farmer has left the gate open – and the goose has escaped!

‘GOOSE ON THE LOOSE!’ cries the farmer as he races after it.

Past the fire station runs the goose.

‘DUCK ON THE TRUCK!’ shouts the firefighter.

‘No!’ says the farmer. ‘Not a duck – it’s a GOOSE ON THE LOOSE!’

The goose dashes past the airport. ‘CRANE ON THE PLANE!’ calls the pilot.

And so the chaos continues … There’s a CHOOK ON THE HOOK, a ROOSTER ON A SCOOTER and even a QUAIL ON A SAIL! But every time, the farmer has to correct them – it’s still a GOOSE ON THE LOOSE!

Mayhem builds as a growing crowd chases after the runaway goose through town. But when they finally reach the end of the pier, it seems this determined goose may have had a very good reason for running so far after all.

Packed with repetition and lively illustrations, this madcap story is a delight to read aloud. Young readers will love joining in with the chaos as the chase grows sillier with every page.
