This time around a bunch of crime writers embark on The Ghan to travel from Darwin to Alice Springs to attend the Australian Writers Society crime writers’ festival where one writer will be murdered on the way, leaving five to solve the crime. With an assortment of different kinds of writers onboard, including a literary, suspense, blockbuster, forensics, legal thriller and a debut writer (our narrator), it shouldn’t be a problem solving the mystery. That is until things start go amiss.
Ernest Cunningham is one of the most entertaining characters in a book series I’ve read. The murder mystery aspect of the story is clever and compelling. And I had a good laugh, as well as experiencing a thrilling sense of adventure and mystery. It was so satisfying.
If you loved Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone then you will most certainly love Everyone On This Train Is A Suspect. I absolutely devoured this book. Simply fabulous.
