The new Pet Sematary trailer has been released just in time for Halloween. The film resurrects one of Stephen King’s most disturbing stories ever, a tale about what happens when we don’t let the dead rest in peace.

Pet Sematary is the story of a young family who move to a secluded house right next to an eerie pet cemetary, which also just happens to be an ancient Native American burial ground. When the family cat suddenly dies, the family make the inadvisable decision to bury him at the cemetary. A mystical place that has to power to bring dead things back to life.

Set to be released in Australia on April 4 2019. The big-screen remake is looking a little more polished than the so-bad-it’s-amazing 1989 adaptation. But still just as spooky.
