The television adaptation of Bonnie Garmus’ book Lessons in Chemistry has received an air date according to Deadline. The first two episodes will premiere on Apple TV+ on 13 October.
The novel follows Elizabeth Zott, a chemist in the early 1960s who is forced to resign from her job a research institute. As a result she signs on to become the host of a popular cooking television show called Supper at Six.
The series stars Brie Larson (Room) as Elizabeth, along with other actors such as Caryn West (PEN15), Ashley Monique Clark (The Hughleys), Lewis Pullman (Top Gun: Maverick), Debbie Pollack (UnCorked), and Aja Naomi King (How To Get Away With Murder).
