Acclaimed actor Ewan McGregor is set to star as the lead in a series adaptation of A Gentleman in Moscow. A novel by Amor Towles.

Ewan McGregor is best known for his roles in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise, Trainspotting and Moulin Rouge!.

McGregor will play the character Count Alexander Rostov. The 2016 novel, follows Rostov, a Russian aristocrat in the 1920s who is sentenced to live the rest of his life in a Moscow luxury hotel.
