Anne Hathaway has been cast as the lead in the film adaptation of Robinne Lee’s The Idea of You.

The novel follows a woman who is approaching 40 and is recently divorced. She’s desperate to rekindle her relationship with her teenage daughter, so she takes her to a concert to watch her favourite band play. She in turn falls in love with one of the singers who is based off Harry Styles.

Michael Showalter (The Dropout and The Big Sick) will direct the adaptation and will begin filming in October. The movie will be released on Prime Video.
