ANTARES POWERS (47.83 cm)
The tallest living domestic cat is Fenrir Antares Powers (USA), who measures 47.83 cm (18.83 in), as verified in Farmington Hills, Michigan, USA, on 29 January 2021. (The height is taken from the base of the front paws to the top of the withers – the ridge that runs between the shoulder blades).

TALLEST DOG
ZEUS (1.046 m)
Zeus, a two-year old Great Dane, stood 1.046 m (3 ft, 5.1 in) to the withers on 22 Mar 2022. He is owned by Brittany Davis of Bedford in Texas, USA. Confusingly, the tallest dog ever was also a Great Dane called Zeus: he stood at 1.118 m on 4 Oct 2011 and belonged to the Doolag family of Michigan, USA.
