Lee Lehner’s ‘Anithia’ is a fantasy series where she mixes mythology and mystical tales. They explore the character’s stories through shifting timelines in their past lives. Anithia: Ancestry of Knowing is the third book in this series.
In this book we are reacquainted with Isola in the year 1966 as she is transported back to her past life in 1821 where she is Annabell. Here she is reunited with her love, Davy. Life in La Florida is dangerous as the city is in turmoil and strife. And there are surprising secrets that will be revealed to Annabell by her Artisan dearest and she will discover her true purpose.
What I have really enjoyed about this series is the Lehner’s ability to transport the reader to an alternative world, that of past lives, and bringing those times alive.
Although I enjoyed this third book, I would have to say that the first two books were the best of the series so far.
