HOLLY JACKSON graduated from the University of Nottingham, where she studied literary linguistics and creative writing, with a master’s degree in English. She is the author of the popular ‘Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’ series. Her next novel is inspired by the true-crime genre, and is a twisty mystery.

The other books in the series include, two sequel novels and one prequel novella: Good Girl, Bad Blood (2020); As Good As Dead (2021); and Kill Joy (2021).
The series follows Pip Fitz-Amobi as she investigates the murder-suicide of a popular senior in her high school and her boyfriend.
The YA mystery novel has sold millions of copies worldwide since 2019, and the series, has garnered over 40 million views on TikTok. It’s also set to receive a TV series adaptation with Wednesday star Emma Myers set to play the lead role.
Her forthcoming book The Reappearance of Rachel Price is a true-crime fuelled mystery thriller and is set to be published next year.
The novel follows Bel, an 18-year-old woman whose mother disappeared when she was 2. But when her family agrees to participate in a true crime documentary about the case, the impossible happens, her mother reappears. But Bel isn’t sure she believes her mother’s story.
In an Instagram post she said ‘Writing this book utterly wrecked me, and that’s why I think it might be my best yet. With everything readers have come to expect from me: twists that will make it embarrassing to read in public, a mystery that will have you questioning just how unhinged I am, and a protagonist with a three-letter name (I don’t know why this keeps happening!) Get ready, because Rachel Price is about to come back from the dead, and just like her daughter – Bel – you’re going to have to question everything if you want to uncover the truth.’
