J K Rowling’s bestselling book series, Harry Potter, will now be adapted into a seven part TV series.
The announcement was made by Warner Bros on April 12. Warner Bros Discovery CEO David Zaslav stated that the show will feature on HBO Max and will be produced and released over the course of a decade. The new show will be faithful to the original Harry Potter books, but will have an entirely new cast from the successful movie franchise.
J K Rowling will executive produce the series, as will Neil Blair and Ruth Kenley-Letts.
