Running 30-31 July, the Orange Readers and Writers festival is chock full of talks with authors and a fascinating workshop.

Beginning Friday 30 July, Kay Soderlund will present a workshop on caring for collections and maintaining your family heritage through through preservation of important items. Kay has worked as a paper conservator since 1982, and will guide you on how to preserve not just books but other heirlooms such as photos, art and metal obects of importance.

Saturday 31 July is jam packed with talks from authors, including Petronella McGovern, Michael Brissenden, Helen Ennis, Todd Alexander and Robert Tickner. The Banjo Paterson Writing Awards will also be announced. You can view the full program here.
