Three years after the last Jack Reacher adaption hit the big screen, Amazon Studios have announced they are bringing Lee Child’s best-selling series to TV, sans Tom Cruise.
The series is to be a co-production between Amazon, Skydance Television and Paramount Televison (who brought us the similarly named Jack Ryan series by Tom Clancy). Nick Santora (of Scoripion and Prison Break) is on board to write and act as showrunner.

Starting off with Killing Floor back in 1997, Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series has since becoem a billion-dollar franchise, with 23 novels selling over 100 million copies. More details about the series are to be announced soon.
