Leaves is the most beautiful book that tells the story of a tree who has watched over his daughter since she was but a seedling. He had helped her grow strong with her branches reaching to the sky. He had been near her to shade her from the scorching sun and walked on hills and sat together by streams gently flowing by.

The father had taught his daughter how to be flexible in the wind. How to share shelter to those around. He had always taught her that sometimes if just good to stop and enjoy the view.

But as time passed he began to lose his leaves one by one. He had taught her everything he knew, he loved her as she him. His leaves began to glow light and bright.

I can’t say more as you simply need to read this yourself. As I wipe tears flowing from my eyes all I can say is this is a very beautiful story. It is brimming over with love. The illustrations could not be any better. This is the story of the circle of life. It touches you right in the centre of your heart.
