I always look forward to another book from Terry and Andy. As always, with this series, the story is about adding another 13 floors to their treehouse. This time, some of the floors include a Bouldering Alley (it’s bowling but with boulders), a Lost and Found Sausage office, an Aquarium Wonderland with a stunt axolotl, and an Old Boot Camp, literally for old boots.
Terry’s mission is to cover the tree in fairy lights to get it ready for Christmas, so he places one light on every leaf (you would never guess how many that is!) Unfortunately (and as usual) Mr Big Nose wants a new book, this time on Christmas Eve! With the book due tomorrow, Andy wants to start writing, but Terry wants to write their present list for Santa, which includes an electric pony.
Suddenly Santa and his reindeers arrive but they get trapped in the tree by all the Christmas lights. I won’t say what happens next because I don’t want to spoil the story, but Andy and Jill must deliver all the presents to the world and save Christmas. Some of the presents include jack-in-the-boxes with jacks in boxes that punch you when you open them and killer undies with teeth!
What I loved about this book is the adventure and how this is a Christmas special. My favourite part is the stunt axolotl who needs to replace Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and help deliver the gifts. Keep an eye out for the lost sausage that you can find in lots of the pictures if you look hard enough.
If you love Andy and Terry’s adventures, you’ll love this book!
