Magoo! Magoo?
Where are you, Magoo?
Out in the garden,
Next to the shed …
Under the clothes line …
In my new bed!

Wherever Magoo goes there is always chaos! He might be under the clothes line but he doesn’t tell us he’s pulling his nice clean sheet off the line. And if you ask where he is again, he might say he’s just beside the bin but why is all that rubbish out on the floor? But it’s when he goes ‘out the side gate and off down the street’ the real fun begins.

My favourite page is when he is asked where he is and he says …

Here in the playground,
behind the pram …
Cleaning this baby
covered in jam!

Can you imagine Magoo’s large tongue desperately wanting to clean the baby’s jammy face?

This is such a fun book. Our very little children and those of us who have never really grown up will love finding Magoo on every page even if it’s only a bit of his tail.
