It’s very easy for us to take our brain for granted. We talk and walk and think and feel and breathe without a thought that our brains are in charge of all these things our bodies do. The author compares our brain to a command centre with messages being sent and received. She also tells how our brains control our muscles and bones and tendons, allowing us to move our arms and legs. And even how it brings us dreams when we are deeply asleep.
Every page of this wonderful and unique book is full of fantastic facts, cartoon characters with speech bubbles, and a rather clever but naughty ginger cat with his funny comments always making sure he’s the centre of attention.
I’d like to make sure that a copy of this book is in every primary classroom and being shared in every home as our children will devour it.
