TC and his mate, Lockie, do everything together. They especially love riding their bikes around town. They get on well with most people except for the older kids, who occasionally bully them, and Mr Thacker who owns the junk yard.

Not many people in Warner’s Creek get on well with Mr Thacker. Then, when Mrs Mucci’s dog, Polpetta, goes missing she promises TC and Lockie a year’s supply of free pizza, if they can find the little dog.

Mrs Mucci is a champion pizza maker, so TC reckons this is the deal of a lifetime. So what if they have to sniff some dog poo? It’ll be worth it.

This is a fun adventure that is easy to read. There is plenty of action to keep the less enthusiastic reader engaged. TC and Lockie are likeable characters, and we all want to see Polpetta found and returned to Mrs Mucci.
