Eva is bored. She’s played with her toys, done some drawings and finished a puzzle and now she is SO bored. Mum isn’t much help. She just asks Eva what’s happened to her imagination. Eva’s not sure what an imagination is so Mum very cleverly suggests she’ll know when she finds it.

This seemed like a good idea. Why not take Chops, her ever faithful pooch and go hunting for her imagination? Armed with some sensible boots and a bag of snacks, the two brave explorers set off: through a narrow valley to a dense forest, both of them searching behind every tree, up a steep mountain to a very dark cave where a scary furry thing is guarding the treasure, over a bridge to a rainforest where a huge snake dangles in front of Eva’s face. Arrghh! Time to go home!

Back down the mountain where Mum is waiting for them. What an adventure and all without even leaving their house!

This is a fun book where the clever illustrations tell the story. The littlies who read this book won’t be scared as they’ll understand what is happening. Imagination is a wonderful thing.
