I had written a lot of royalty-focused fantasy romance, and I really wanted to tell a story about how the commoners were affected.

The best writing advice I’ve received is…

“The only thing you can’t fix is a blank page.” It means that we need to get words on the paper, even if they’re bad, because we can always fix it later.

After reading Sparking Fire Out of Fate, I hope readers feel…

A sense of hope! I really put my characters through a challenging time, but I always want to show them figuring out how to overcome their difficulties.
