Who Might You Be is a fun story about a tangram geometric puzzle where it changes into different animals and human forms to explore what it is. On the surface, the story is about the intersection of geometry and creativity, but read a little deeper and it has themes of identity and choosing what you want to be.

The combination of geometry, imagination and creativity can make the idea of what a tangram is easier to understand, which is what makes this book work well. Seeing how the square is taken apart and put back together in different ways brings it to life, in ways that an ordinary maths book or standard explanation or definition may not for some people.

It’s a puzzle, but unlike any other! You can do whatever you want with it – the only limit is your imagination. One of the cool things about this interactive book is the traceable puzzle at the end of the story. Readers can use it to create their own tangram, and see what they can create – and they could have a go at creating some of the shapes in the book as well.

Who Might You Be is going to be a great way to make learning fun and understandable for younger kids, because often, the fun and simple explanations are what can enrich our knowledge and understanding.
