The Cave is set a long time ago when different tribes fought to survive. Hiding from the Beast, the Pards, and other Monsters that prowled the lands at the time. A boy called Irain and his dad are on patrol during the night when tragedy strikes, and the beast owns the cave once more. Irain then saves the life of his best friend. Together, they roam the lands, finding it difficult to survive. But that all changes when they meet Trug, an elderly lady who knows the ins and outs of the land. She teaches the two how to survive and how to take advantage of the Sky and Land spirits.

The Cave was a bit scary but very eventful and hard to stop reading at night. Parts of it made me wonder what happens next, and some bits made me stop and think.

It is a really good book, but it is a little bit dark and scary.
